Current Offerings:
In this course you will learn about the fundamental cost accounting principles imposed
by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 31 on commercial organizations,
and will follow an example of how a DCAA compliant accounting system should be set
up.
Course content includes:
- Checklist used by DCAA in conducting Accounting System Reviews
- Setting up a Chart of Accounts to segregate Direct, Indirect and Unallowable Costs
- Job Cost Accounting
- Indirect Cost Pools and Allocation Bases
- Indirect Rate Computations
- Timekeeping System and Labor Distribution Requirements
- Unallowable Costs
In this half day course you will learn the fundamentals of GSA/VA Multiple Award
Schedule Program. You will:
- learn specifics of the program and what commercial products and services the Federal
Government seeks in this lucrative 5 year contract program
- receive detailed and highly specialized guidance to best organize and position your
current business for a GSA/VA contract award
- understand the pricing policies followed by GSA/VA and the various rules and regulations
you must understand to maximize the value of your GSA/VA Schedule, remain compliant
after the award, and insure you retain the contract
- learn the items of importance to Federal Agency Contracting Officers in properly
utilizing your awarded schedule contract
This seminar is appropriate for those anticipating the preparation of a GSA/VA Schedule
and those who currently have a GSA/VA Schedule Contract and are interested in the
best utilization of the contracting vehicle.
In this one and a half day workshop participating contractors will learn how to
prepare their company’s GSA/VA Schedule with the expert assistance of two GSA/VA
Schedule Preparation experts who have prepared more than one hundred GSA/VA Schedules.

are highly encouraged to attend the seminar,

prior to attendance at this workshop. Prior to the event, participants will receive
a detailed listing of the required information they will need to bring to the workshop.
Each participant will receive detailed guidance to insure that they have a copy
of the desired GSA/VA Schedule Solicitation when they arrive for the workshop.
In this workshop, participants will receive hands-on guidance through the three
phases of the GSA/VA schedule application process.
